SUNDAY, JANUARY 6, 2019 9:00 am
SAN LUIS NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, LOS BANOS
Hundreds of snow geese, swans, sandhill cranes, ross geese, ducks and more spend winter at this refuge near Los Banos. A visit to view the migrating waterfowl and the resident herd of Tule Elk is a rare and wondrous treat for nature lovers. Bring your binoculars and learn what's in the water from the expert birders who are your hosts. You'll feel like you're in a wildlife movie when the flocks rise together before your eyes. After the tour, warm up and enjoy lunch and the engaging exhibits in the beautiful "green" Visitor Center. We'll meet in Fresno and carpool to the refuge.
